My condo is on the top floor of a 4-story adult-oriented building. It backs on to a golf course, is a 10-minute walk to a dike along the ocean, and 5 minutes to the centre of town, with all amenities required. Tsawwassen is a small, safe suburb of Vancouver, 15 minutes by car to the ferries taking you to Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. Locally, sports facilities abound, child-friendly parks and swimming pool, a nature reserve, small art galleries, beach and restaurants are all nearby -- within walking/rolling distance and by car. Vancouver city centre is 40 minutes by car and an hour by public transit. Buses and rapid transit are all disabled accessible, with bus stops 5 minutes by foot. Inside the condo there are high ceilings, a fireplace in the lounge and master bedroom, and my wheelchair meanders easily throughout the hardwood floors. Master bathroom and bedroom doorways wer widened. Remotes open condo entrance, as well as doors to street and parking garage. Small bedroom and 2nd bathroom doorways are mormal width; French doors to den accessible. Den has fold out queen-sized bed and spare bedroom has a double-sized bed, sleeping 1 or 2 "friendly" people.
